People often ask, “How do I choose a therapist?” The answer is simple. Ask yourself, “Do I feel comfortable with this person?” Don’t listen to what others say or suggest. It’s hard enough taking this big step so you must trust your gut and not your head. The chemistry has to be right. This might even mean meeting with several therapists until you find the right fit.

Sessions are typically once or twice per week at the same agreed upon time and are for fifty minutes. I sometimes suggest meeting for an initial four sessions as an introduction.
